EVLT™ - EndoVenous Laser Treatment
EVLT™, or endovenous laser treatment, is currently one of the best available techniques for eliminating varicose veins. Often considered the “gold standard” in vein therapy, a session usually takes less than thirty minutes and is minimally invasive. Laser energy is directed to the problem veins, which respond by shrinking and sealing off. The body redirects blood flow from the damaged veins to healthier ones, and the sealed veins are absorbed. EVLT™ has high success rate and most patients are able to resume typical activities within days.
